Thoughts on WCG Korea
Ok… This is a little delayed but I’m going for it.
My thoughts on WCG Korea. What… The… Hell… It was a bad tournament by any means, great games with great teams; I’m sure it would have been awesome to be there in person but I couldn’t be. This is where my qualms start. That stream quality… I know it’s been mentioned before but there is absolutely no excuse for a stream of that quality coming out of Korea. HD looked like 360p which looked even worse since because of dead week my university’s internet was super slow so I had to watch on the 360p setting which was needless to say much worse. So problem number one is the stream quality. Problem number two? Why did you invite English casters when they were only able to piggy back off the Korean casters instead of actually having a camera of their own? They were mostly able to adapt to the situation but that is honestly really rude to the casters and to the audience which they are casting to. Anyways those are the 2 big things I didn’t like about the tournament, again it was a good tournament with good games and teams.
